We are so excited to be in the new building! We now have the space we need to grow and provide each one of you high quality training in a professional environment. And yes....it has a bathroom!
A couple of things however, the power should be on today, hopefully the utilities show up and turn it on in a timely manner and there are two or three items we need to pick up from the other building. We are taking volunteers for a truck.....
Please be mindful that we will adding equipment, classes, changes in rules and policies as we grow. Announcements will be made as necessary. This is the building I have been trying to get for 3 yrs. Finally...persistence pays.
Here is the workout we will do tonight....
Warm up:
4 Rounds:
Run 100 meters with each run work on mule kicks, high knees, acceleration and deceleration ( burst of speed for 3 or 4 steps).
Strength/Skill:
Single arm snatch - using dumbbells, kettlebells and the bar. We will focus on the pull, the "catch" and the overhead squat. Go heavy...have fun with it.
WOD:
AMRAP in 15 minutes:
Run 1 lap (its 440 meters, I walked it out)
Deadlift 185 lbs - 15
Push up - 30
